Located just north of downtown Baltimore on the UMMC Midtown Campus, our primary care pediatric practice has several parking and public transit options. 

About UM Pediatrics

The faculty physicians at University of Maryland Pediatrics at Midtown care for children from birth until age 21. Our pediatricians are dedicated to working with families to promote their child’s well-being. The services our practice provides include:

• Newborn care
• Lactation support
• Physicals
• Immunizations and other preventive care
• Treatment for childhood illnesses and injuries
• Management of complex medical conditions

Our call center representatives are available at 410-225-8780 to make appointments:

• Monday–Friday: 8 am– 4:30 pm

Medical

During business hours, we have a nurse available to assist with questions or concerns. After office hours, there is a physician on call for emergencies or urgent medical questions.

• Tuesday and Thursday: 9 am-5 pm
• Wednesday: 8 am-6:30 pm

Walk-In and Same-Day Sick Appointments

Because we understand that kids' illness don't run on a schedule. we offer both same-day sick appointments and walk-in services on a first come, first served basis.

Same-day sick appointments are for current patients who missed the walk-in hours but have an acute need. Typically, one of our nurses will make an assessment by phone first.

Walk-In Hours

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 am-11:15 am
• Tuesday, Thursday: 9 am-11:15 am
  (Limited availability for walk-in services)

Same-Day Sick Appointment

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 1:00 pm–3:30 pm
• Wednesday: 4:30 - 6:30 pm
  (Limited availability for same-day sick appointments)
